Welcome to the 9th Annual CaNIOS Principal Investigators’ Meeting. This is our first official business meeting after incorporation. As in the past years, CaNIOS continues to work with Lupus Canada and its provincial affiliates hand in hand to foster the best research program for patients with lupus in Canada, build up awareness of lupus to the public, and bring the best speakers to share their expertise and knowledge with those affected by this condition.

Who are we? What are we doing? What is CaNIOS about?

This is the place to find out all about CaNIOS, a Canadian national research group on SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus).

This is the place we unite all centres, all medical doctors, principle investigators and researchers under CaNIOS to exchange information.

We also want to hear from you concerning your thoughts, questions and suggestions about our organization and our research. You can support our research by participating in our studies and/or making donations.

  • Jul. 14 2010, Patient's newsletter In Touch has been posted.
     
  • Jun. 28 2010, A Word from the Chair has been updated after last week's CaNIOS meeting in Vancouver.
     
  • Jun. 4 2010, the agenda for 9th Annual CaNIOS PI meeting is posted HERE The meeting will be held in the morning of June 24 2010 in Vancouver.
     
  • May 18 2010 the 9th annual Walk a Block event was held in Toronto among three hospitals - TWH, TGH and Sick Kids, please see photos HERE, we still need your support by clicking the big sign on right side of this web site.
     
  • Mar. 22 2010, ACR Abstract submission site opens on May 3. Deadline of abstract submission is June 28 at noon Eastern Time.
     
  • Feb. 1 2010, CaNIOS has 8 abstract submitted to 2010 CRA Conference and AGM.
     
  • Nov. 26 2009, from today on, newsletter subscribers do not need to create their online profile, one valid e-mail address is sufficient.
