2011 CaNIOS Scientific
Meeting
This year, CAN is helping to organize this VERY unique meeting that will include,
in addition to the CaNIOS members, members from CAN, CSRG, and CAPRI. When CAN's
travel agent contact you (he will be booking your flight), please be certain about
your arrival and departure date as CAN will NOT reimburse expenses related to flight
changes.
IMPORTANT: Note that all acceptable expenses will be covered and
that all bookings (hotel and flights) have to be made through CAN via their registration
Website (http://arthritisnetwork.ca/events/regform_2011.php).
In blue section of the registration page ("Please check ALL that apply"),
indicate what type of CaNIOS member you are and, if you are a CAN member, what type
you are. You do not have any registration fees to pay.
TO ALL CaNIOS Members: Except the session entitled 'Strategic Planning
Lunch' (where invitation will be sent to selected members) on Saturday October 29th,
all CaNIOS members are welcome to attend the rest of the meeting. And on the same
day - October 29th, you will find the session entitled 'Brain Storming Session'.
Interested CaNIOS members will be given 5 minutes slots to present potential CaNIOS
projects. Feel free to email Ms Cathy Chau (cchau@uhnresearch.ca)
by Wednesday September 7th if you are interested to participate.
TO ALL Trainees: Please submit your abstract to Cathy before Wednesday
September 7th and she will forward them to CaNIOS Scientific Committee to review.
You will need to submit your abstract seperately to CAN. Please DO NOT register
on CAN Website until you hear from CaNIOS Scientific Committee that your abstract
has been selected. CaNIOS will provide you with a template for your posters (the
use of this template is mandatory), will review and print your posters and summaries
for you, and bring everything to Quebec City in time for the Training day.
We encourage you all to register ASAP via CAN's website. This is the only way that
you will be able to register to our meeting this year and all bookings have to be
made via their website.
