Proposed outline for Proceedings document

  1. Table of Contents
  2. Preface This will be a 500-word text section, explaining the vision for and process of the conference, to be written by Dr. Fortin and signed from the Conference co-chairs
  3. Executive Summary This will be a one-page summary of conference vision, goals, scientific key points and consensus report.
  4. Introduction There will be a short text introduction including basic information on five SARDs: lupus, scleroderma, Sjögren’s Syndrome, myositis and vasculitis. 5. Conference Proceedings Information will be presented in a three-day format as conference took place – ie. Friday consumer session (brief report); Session I, Session II (including breakout groups). Key scientific information presented during the conference will be reviewed in narrative form (possibly with some bulleted text) below the name and main affiliations of each Presenter (as per the short summary report.)
  6. Consensus Report and Recommendations This will include some material about the small group processes, but will focus largely on the synthesized recommendations as decided by the Working Group.
